Aamir Khan may have got his lips locked with the charming Kareena Kapoor in ‘3 Idiots’ but it is his nephew Imran Khan who is nursing an injured heart for Bebo. Imran, who is already married to his ladylove Avantika, has come out with a revelation that he has been besotted with the beauty of Kareena for years. It’s another matter that he has been a silent admirer rather than being vocal about it.
“I found her beautiful right from her first film Refugee. I couldn`t articulate my feelings then, but perhaps I nursed a silent crush,” he confesses.
His act of confession seems to have come at the right time with the pair’s rom-com ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ slated for a 10th February release. We would have shrugged this admission off as just another promotional stunt but when we look at the enigmatic, ethereal face of Kareena, it’s easy to see why someone would fall in immediate love with this chocolaty girl.
Imran, relatively new in the industry, has himself been drummed as Bollywood’s chocolate boy and broke millions of hearts of girls & gays when he tied the knot with Avantika a year back. Kareena, meanwhile, looks all set to walk the aisle with beau Saif Ali Khan this year itself.
Pouring out his heart, Imran shares some interesting details about his inner turmoil as he cites that he often used to closely observe her during the shoot of ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ and even took her pictures without her noticing. Kareena appeared such a fairy-like beauty that clicking her pics was a natural response.
Bebo, meanwhile, has also been vocal about her affection for Imran and we hope that their off-screen camaraderie shows on the screen as well. With the promos looking promising and Karan Johar donning the producer’s hat, EMAET seems to be that perfect love story which you can mushily watch with your partner this Valentine.
