Biomechanical Tattoo Flash

Biomechanical Tattoo Flash Biography
As far as other artists from whom I may draw inspiration from, first and foremost is an Austrian oil painter by the name of Dieter "De Es" Schwetberger. Then there's Robert Venosa, Alex Grey, Patrick Woodroffe, Michael Whelan, Phil Hale, Zdzislaw Beksinski, just to rattle off a few. As far as other tattooists go: Guy, Aaron Cain, Little Vinnie Meyers, Paul Booth, Bernie Luther, Joey Capo, Cori Krueger, Eric Merrill, Grime, Timothy Hoyer, Tin-Tin¦I could go on forever here. I really love the work that every body is doing these days, it's really great to see how inspired the tattoo scene is becoming to really push the envelope as far out there as we can. People like Chris Dingwell, who really has a style of his own; he's really inspiring to me. Michele Wortman, although many people may feel her work might be controversial as to whether or not it is really acceptable as tattooing because of her lack of using black as a foundation. This is what it's about - pushing it as far as possible. These are the people who are playing an important role in the tattoo culture. Without artists who are willing to really give it a part of themselves without the fear of being rejected by the scene, we'd still be doing skulls and daggers. I guess for some, that stuff is still cool, but as far as I'm concerned we are past that level so lets keep moving on.

A Southern California native born in 1945, Hardy revived a childhood determination to become a tattoo artist and underwent a tattoo apprenticeship while simultaneously receiving a B.F.A. degree in printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1967. Tattooing professionally since then, he developed the fine art potential of the medium with emphasis on its Asian heritage. In 1973 he lived in Japan, studying with a traditional tattoo master – the first non-Asian to gain access to that world. He resumed these studies in Japan throughout the 1980s. Since 1974 he pioneered the emphasis on unique tattoo commissions at his San Francisco studio.

In 1982 he and his wife, Francesca Passalacqua, formed Hardy Marks Publications and have written, edited and published over twenty-five books on alternative art. They moved their primary household to Honolulu in 1986, where Hardy resumed painting, drawing, and printmaking. He maintains the studio Tattoo City in San Francisco, with younger artists continuing to evolve and carry on his unique work format. Hardy’s primarily focus is on creating and exhibiting works in more traditional mediums, including porcelain painting. He began developing this body of work in 2006 in a traditional Japanese setting.
In addition to showing his own works, Hardy has curated a number of exhibitions for both galleries and nonprofit spaces and frequently lectures at museums and universities. His work has appeared in numerous periodicals, books, and films internationally. In 2000, he was appointed by Oakland mayor Jerry Brown to that city’s Cultural Arts Commission, and awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the San Francisco Art Institute. In 2004 “Ed Hardy”, a major fashion line featuring his artwork, was launched internationally. Hardy and his wife now divide their time between Honolulu and the San Francisco Bay area.

Picture Of Tattos Biography
Tattoos are now an established part of our popular culture. The floodgates have opened. The demand for tattoos is growing and judging someone is just about out the door. Today, tattoo’s are for just about everyone. Any race, color or creed. Any profession – pick one, any one. A professional person or a housewife or a doctor or an accountant. The line in the sand has been washed away. This acceptance into the mainstream of our culture has resulted in an increasing demand for tattoos, tattoo parlors, skilled artists and tattoo supplies. It is a growth industry similar too and with the help of the rap industry!
Let the controversy ensue.

Now, we complete the trifecta. Body Piercing. Tattoos and Body Piercing. Tattooing and body piercing have become increasingly prevalent in popular culture over the last 30 years. The debate will continue to persist. What is the motivation behind such body modifications as tatooing and piercing. Some assume that body piercings and tattoos are nothing more than fashion accessories. In most cases they are correct. Or at the very least there is some significant reason why they chose a certain tattoo or piercing. A reference to something they really relate to. But it can go much deeper than that. There are religious reasons for many.

Mini Biography
Vin Diesel was raised by his astrologer/psychologist mother and adoptive father in an artist’s housing project in New York’s Greenwich Village, never knowing his biological father. His first break in acting happened by chance, when at the age of seven he and his friends broke into a theatre to vandalize it. A woman stopped them and offered them each a script and $20, on the condition that they would attend everyday after school. From there, Vin’s fledgling career progressed from the New York repertory company run by his father, to the Off-Off-Broadway circuit. At 17 and already sporting a well-honed physique, he became a bouncer at some of New York’s hippest clubs to earn himself some extra cash. It was at this time that he changed his name to Vin Diesel.Following high school, Vin enrolled as an English major at Hunter College, but dropped out after three years to go to Hollywood to further his acting career. Being an experienced theatre actor did not make any impression in Hollywood and after a year of struggling to make his mark, he returned to New York. His mother then gave him a book called “Feature Films at used Car Prices” by Rick Schmidt. The book showed him that he could take control of his career and make his own movies. He wrote a short film based on his own experiences as an actor, called Multi-Facial (1995), which was shot in less than three days at a cost of $3,000. Multi-Facial (1995) was eventually accepted for the 1995 Cannes Film Festival where it got a tumultuous reception.

Biography has been primarily influenced by pop singers Madonna and Michael Jackson, as well as glam rock stars such as the band Queen and David Bowie. Her stage name was inspired by the Queen song "Radio Ga Ga". Artist Andy Warhol, poet Rainer Maria Rilke, fashion icon/actress/singer Grace Jones have all been cited as inspirations. The structure of Gaga's music is said to be reminiscent of classic 1980s pop and 1990s Europop. Lady Gaga has stated that she is "very into fashion" and that it is "everything" to her. Her love of fashion came from her mother, who she stated was "always very well kept and beautiful." Gaga claims that: "When I'm writing music, I'm thinking about the clothes I want to wear on stage. It's all about everything altogether—performance art, pop performance art, fashion. For me, it's everything coming together and being a real story that will bring back the super-fan. I want to bring that back. I want the imagery to be so strong that fans will want to eat and taste and lick every part of us." Gaga has her own creative production team called the Haus of Gaga, which she handles personally. The team creates many of her clothes, stage props, and hairdos.
